Value Time

Everyone wants to become a full time trader, because they dream of being able to have Money and Time to do what they want. Yet we see Fulltime traders constantly sitting at their computers, and working more than people at other jobs.

I used to work for a company that did Project Management Nationwide. I was on the road 6 days a week, sometimes 2 flights a day, rental cars, hotels etc. I was never home, it was exhausting, but good money. During an Xmas party (my last with the company), I remember my Boss saying his youngest Daughter was getting Married the following week, and he was trying to get time off. I was talking to him about it and he said he didn’t really know the Guy she was Marrying, and said his biggest regret was being on the road and not seeing his Daughters Grow up.

Shortly after that, my Middle Son was born, and I swore that would not be me. I buckled down, and made it a Goal to be Fulltime within 6 months. Thankfully I was able to do it, and also started another Business to help. All of my Boys I have been able to spend every day with, be at each game, take to parks, and swimming. We play together all day while I’m trading, eat lunch together, play Superheroes and Go to Parks.

Fast forward to today, my youngest Son is now Starting Preschool tomorrow, we went and got his school supplies last week, new Backpack, shoes the whole works. We have been Best Buds for 4 years, laughing, playing, and spending every second together. And tonight he said “Dada can you pick me up from school tomorrow, so I can tell you all about my day”? I’ve picked up my boys everyday from school, and every day they tell me about their day, but when my Youngest asked that it made me realize why we do all of this. It’s bittersweet when our Kids grow up, and they do it all too fast, but when we can be there for them every day it makes it worth everything.

Life isn’t about Money, it’s about Time and the way we value it. Whether that’s taking a small pay cut to do a Job you love, or Take Risks in order to be there for your Kids. Even making time for Family or Friends you haven’t seen in a long time, we need to always Value our Time!

Stock Market Thoughts:

We are seeing some crazy Price action at the moment. I remain bearish here, as we are starting to see charts slowly breakdown, while we see Price action and the Buy algo on. I believe we are getting closer to a larger downside move. Bond Market, Oil, USD etc are all pointing to it, even though Tech is trying to hold up here. Stay Cautious, algo is on but still getting overwhelmed a bit. ES important level to the upside is 4527, below it here is the Weekly and Daily 8mas.

Obsidian:

The New Obsidian Class 15 is Enrolling. It will be similar to those who are in the Current Class 14, learning our Setup for scalps and Midterms. It is a Simple process, that allows people who work fulltime to be able to trade Smallcaps and Options, while OTC still is slower. Add some extra tools to your Trade kit and dont rely on just 1 Market! If you were in Classes 1-12, revisit as we go over more Midterm type Trading and Setups!
